WTF at Pinkberry

Ignorance and bad judgement prevail on the shelves of Pinkberry. FYI, Pinkberry, lacking an "ounce" of originality, copied (down to physical store design) the South Korean yogurt chain, Red Mango.

WATERCOOLER Notable Lunches: Ed’s Lobster Bar w/Front Studio

Since discovering a neighborhood lunch blog earlier this year (thanks to Judy!), we’ve been inspired to re-claim the joys of eating around our ‘hood. And every now and then we come across food so good or company so enjoyable that it’s worth sharing with you, our dedicated and patient readers.

With that thought, we begin our Notable Lunches column. A mix of catching up with old friends, making new ones, talking shop, and eating well. The way lunches should be.

For our inaugural post, we couldn’t think of a more befitting company to lunch with than the ladies of Front Studio, the architecture firm behind the little lunch blog that is getting some attention lately.

With Summer coming to an end, we decided to roll big and head over to Ed’s Lobster Bar, a purveyor of seafood goodness. Final verdict for their infamous lobster rolls: it’s good, but not quite $23 dollars good.

Things discussed: Marmite, natto beans, stinky tofu, California, mushrooms, and marketing/PR.

(see entry w/photo at a one and a two)
