A good day in the mountains

A quick parting shot after a long day of biking in the snow. The ride was filled with amazing views of the foliage in action... weather the cold and enjoy it while it's here.

Way too cold

It was the coldest and muddiest ride we've had to endure.

Former Iridesco office

Rode by our first office on First St in Hoboken en route to meet a friend. It's now an interior design studio, and that meat shop is a lot cleaner-looking now than when we were there!

Shawn sent over this photo of the corner by where we used to live in Hoboken. This is a keeper for posterity.

LINK The Cats Of Mirikitani
Caught this incredible documentary about a Japanese-American artist based in NYC over the weekend at the Cinema Village. It’s no longer playing in New York, (unfortunately only a 2 day run), but it’s screening worldwide and the DVD will be released in Jan ‘08. Nevermind the not-so-attractive marketing behind this movie, please do yourself a favor and watch it.

Update: The good people behind the film just informed me via email that they’re screening the film again at Cinema Village this coming weekend (Sat & Sun, 11:45 AM). For those of you in NYC, here’s your chance to watch this film on a semi-big screen.

On the way back from lunch, we encountered an exhibit of sorts featuring these supposedly famous shrooms from Japan.

LINK In less than two weeks, estimates have put Radiohead's In Rainbows digital sales in the neighborhood of $6 - $10 million.
That would be damn impressive if it’s anywhere close to being true. Kudos to Radiohead for conducting the experiment.

An article on the communal bikes in Paris. They have these in Vienna, too. One day, I hope this program will also work in New York City, though I have a tough time picturing it given all the theft…
