WATERCOOLER MySpace is all for closeness

Denouncing openness as an Internet media company with a social network is simply going to earn you bad press and unhappy users. MySpace recently made a move which did exactly that:

The 38 million subscribers to MySpace, … discovered that when they wrote to each other about rival video-swapping site YouTube, the words were automatically deleted, and attempts to download video images from YouTube led to blank screens.

It’s an effort that’s sneaky at best. Users will keep discovering new and upcoming services that work for them, and the best way for all services to benefit is for everyone to play nice and share.

WATERCOOLER Iridesco and the Big Three!

Wishing all a very happy new year. As the year came to a close, the Iridesco crew took some time out to travel, see the loved ones, and otherwise relax as the little company officially turns three years old! That’s three years of sweat, adventure, follies, and rewards. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

As we reconvene for the road ahead in 2006, we’re refreshed and excited. SuprGlu continues to grow as we busily hack away at its next set of features. We’ve also been working on another web application–a tool to help keep our business on track. A tool we’ll be making available for other small businesses to use should they find that it suits their needs. More details on this app very soon!

Take a deep breathe. Get excited. 2006 is going to be good.
